As we embark on our 27th season, we are ready to take a journey with you! Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Wherever we go, whether it’s under the sea with Nemo, the kingdom of Duloc with Shrek, or way down under the ground with Orpheus, God is always with us lighting the way.
Our 2026-2027 season features six main stage musicals and two black boxes that each follow a journey of their own. Each show has incredible opportunities for students of all ages, we can’t wait to see these stories come to life. The first black box production in our 2026-2027 season is Agatha Christie’s Spider’s Web. Fans of Knives Out and Clue should make their way to the theater to see this Christie classic this October! Spider’s Web follows Clarissa Hailsham-Brown, the wife of a diplomat who discovers a dead body in her drawing room. Racing to hide the body before her husband arrives home with a foreign diplomat, antics ensue! All the while, Clarissa is convincing Inspector Lord, a shrewd detective, that no murder occurred. Blending suspense with humor, Spider’s Web makes its First Act debut this fall!
Up next is Footloose the Musical! Based on the 1984 movie and featuring songs like “Let’s Hear it for the Boy,” “I Need a Hero,” and of course, “Footloose!” Footloose the Musical follows the story of Ren McCormack, a young man who moves from the big city to small town Bomont where dancing is banned. But as Ren soon discovers, in Ecclesiastes 3 it says, "there is a time for every purpose under heaven... a time to laugh and a time to weep. A time to mourn and a time to dance." Join us this fall to bring this classic story to life on the First Act stage!
Are you ready to go under the sea? Join Nemo and friends live on stage this fall! Based on the classic Disney PIXAR movie and the stage show at Disney World, Finding Nemo JR. features music by the composers of Frozen and Coco! With over 20 speaking roles, Finding Nemo JR. follows the journey of Marlin and Dory as they travel across the ocean to find Marlin’s son, Nemo. As they take this journey, they meet characters like Crush the Sea Turtle and a bunch of sharks! Brand new to the First Act stage, we can’t wait to see it come to life this November!
“It’s a hard knock life,” but remember “the sun will come out tomorrow!” Annie is the next show on our 2026-2027 season! Annie follows the story of a young orphan girl who is sent to spend Christmas with Oliver Warbucks, a local billionaire. Along the way, the two form a bond and search for her birth parents across the nation. Annie is a story of resilience, relentless optimism, and the power of found family. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this classic story!
Next up on our season is Shrek the Musical! When a crew of Fairy Tale Creatures get dumped onto his property, Shrek heads to Duloc to get his swamp back! Featuring characters like Donkey, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquaad, and more, Shrek the Musical is fun for all ages and has a ton of opportunities! Shrek the Musical brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the eye.
Our second Black Box production of the year is The Theory of Relativity, a joyous and moving look about our surprisingly interconnected lives. Through seemingly unrelated songs, Theory of Relativity introduces us to characters that are allergic to cats, finding love for the first time, and working to prove themselves. As the show progresses, the audience discovers that these characters' stories weave together in a beautiful way, showing us the power of human connection.
Bringing Roald Dahl’s classic novel to life, James and the Giant Peach is a musical that the whole family will love! Featuring music from the Tony-award winning team of Pasek and Paul (Dear Evan Hansen, A Christmas Story the Musical, and The Greatest Showman), James and the Giant Peach follows a young boy who finds himself on a magical adventure accompanied by human-sized bugs! Watch the magic unfold “right before your eyes!”
Last but not least, we are THRILLED to announce that we are closing our season with Anais Mitchell’s Hadestown: Teen Edition. Winning eight Tony awards including Best Musical, Hadestown: Teen Edition is the thrilling adaptation of the Greek myths of Orpheus, Eurydice, Hades, and Persephone. Featuring a live band and expandable cast, Hadestown: Teen Edition is sure to be a showstopper! Join us “way down under the ground!”
