Why Book a First Act Field Trip?

Affordable pricing! $8 per ticket, with one complimentary adult ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased.

Please note, thanks to generous donors we are also able to offer a discounted ticket price of $5 to Title One schools.

A unique immersive learning experience for kids of all ages.
To go even further in the learning experience, we provide a study guide relevant to the content of the specific production for you to incorporate into your lesson plans prior to or following the show (available on request).
To get a look behind the scenes! Director Chat and/or Backstage Tours available on a limited basis.
Easy to book! We encourage you to book your reservation well in advance as performances do fill up quickly. Once your group has scheduled a date, an invoice will be sent. Payment is due 2 weeks before the performance date.

First Act Theatre Arts brings the best in children’s theatre to students throughout the city! Literature from the classroom comes to life on stage in family friendly, high quality productions with colorful costumes, professional staging, energetic choreography and singing. School Day performances are designed specifically for elementary and middle school classes, and more than 3,000 students attend our productions each year. First Act Theatre is always our favorite field trip of the school year! The energy, creativity, and heart the actors bring to the stage make each show truly magical, transporting the audience to worlds both real and imaginary. Bravo!

We have been long-time patrons of First Act Theatre, even since before it became First Act, and we are so very grateful for the incredible productions they continue to offer.
