Mark your calendar for First Act KC’s inaugural Giving Day on July 22-23, 2023!
When we come together for Giving Day, we have the power to transform: transform student lives, families, and our greater community – by providing access to quality theatrical arts education and participation regardless of financial situation.
What is First Act KC Giving Day?
A special day in July for alumni, parents, students, families, neighbors, artistic teams, and staff to come together for 24 hours with the shared goal of building and expanding the First Act Theatre Arts Scholarship Funds. We believe the transformative benefits of the theatrical arts should be available to any student regardless of their ability to pay. First Act KC is dedicated to helping any student who desires to participate in classes, camps, and productions regardless of their ability to pay.
How Does First Act KC Giving Day work?
Giving Day will begin as the curtain rises on the High School Master Camp Production of Big Fish on Saturday, July 22nd at 2pm and will end as the curtain closes on the production Sunday, July 23rd. From curtain up on Saturday, to curtain close on Sunday, our goal is to raise $10,000 for First Act KC Scholarship Funds.
How Can I Participate?
It’s easy! On July 22nd, make your tax-deductible donation to First Act Theatre Arts securely through our website right here. You are also welcome to mail a check to First Act KC (6800 W. 153rd St., Overland Park, KS 66223), but please make sure it reaches us before Sunday, July 23rd.
