Our focus is on technical training for theatrical performances and professional dance training. A dedicated faculty exemplifying strong faith values mentors each student to assist in achieving his or her goals. Through self-discipline and dedication each student will gain knowledge and skills in many disciplines of dance and styles as well as a heightened self-esteem and passion for dance.
First Act Dance Studio wants every dance student to excel in dance. Students should be challenged without feeling overwhelmed. Students taking a level they are not ready for can hinder growth in dance, cause injury and diminish motivation and confidence. All Students in Level II and above will need to be placed in the proper class. If you did not attend a placement session in the spring, please enroll in the class level that you believe that you will be most successful in – this does not guarantee your individual placement. The first two weeks of class are also an opportunity for placement. Changes and movement between classes may be made in the best interest of the individual student.
