As our primary fundraiser of the year, Cocktails & Cabaret hopes to raise the critical funds to support First Act Theatre Art’s commitment to helping students establish themselves as the main character of their own story…by cultivating their unique talents, helping them to navigate and build community, developing character, building self-esteem, and setting the stage for success for the rest of their lives.
This exciting night will feature a Silent Auction, Raffle, Cocktails, a Plated Dinner, Live Auction, performances from our MT Troupe, Dance Company, and Class of 2026 Seniors! Then, after all that fun, join us for more snacks, drinks, and dancing as we celebrate a successful fundraiser!

We are excited to announce the establishment of the Gina Milbourn Find Your Light Alumni Award. Each year, we welcome nominations of alumni who are spreading the light they found at CYTKC/First Act to their current communities, on and off the stage!
Last year, we honored Gina Milbourn herself with the first of these awards. We are so thankful for Gina’s decades of dedication to First Act and for the thousands of students she has shepherded into “finding their light”.

The funds raised will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between expenses and revenues, enabling us to continue providing exceptional programming and experiences for our students.
