First Act’s High School Leadership Group

The Crew coordinates events for the First Act Community throughout the year including a Fall Bonfire and Worship Night, service projects and more!

Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are due September 9th @ 11:59 PM. Selections for The Crew will be announced shortly after.

The Crew

To be a participant in The Crew, you commit to the following:

The Crew is the spot for high school students who want to join together to take on a bigger leadership role within First Act.

The goal of this group is to challenge and grow older students to:

Develop skills to become more effective and positive leaders both within First Act and out in the greater KC community
Expand their knowledge of performing arts opportunities that can springboard from First Act Theatre Arts training and how to take advantage of them
Use leadership skills to host First Act events and participate in community service projects
Have fun and build community with other high school students who have similar interests and goals
