The Crew

Grow with Us!

The Crew of First Act KC is made up of high school students with a desire to contribute to our organization and the KC community by serving and planning community events and fundraisers.

The goal of this group is to challenge and grow the older students of First Act Theatre Arts to:

be leaders and get involved by serving the community around them.
look at all aspects of theatre, not just from the actor’s point of view but to take a deeper look at all that goes on behind the scene before, during and after the show.
grow as an individual, committing themselves to excellence in all they do.

The Crew

To be a participant in The Crew, you commit to the following:

Attend one meeting per quarter.
Assist back stage on at least one show a year.
Assist with at least two of our three hosted events.
Participate in two service events.
Assist with at least one strike meal or rehearsal meal.

The Crew coordinates events for the First Act Community throughout the year including a lock-in, dance, service projects and more!

Applications for the 2023-2024 school year are due August 11th @ 11:59 PM, selections for The Crew will be announced shortly after. The Crew will be capped at 20 Members.
